Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based proven form of therapy that effectively treats trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, and other life experiences. EMDR is primarily based off the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which describes how the brain processes and groups memories. More often than not, what someone is coming into treatment for has roots elsewhere in their lifetime. Ongoing research continues to support and demonstrate lasting positive outcomes from EMDR treatment. I can attest, both as a therapist and client, that EMDR can be life-changing. I have additional specialized training in healing early/pre-verbal trauma and attachment/relational trauma.
