What are parts, and do we all have them?

The concept of parts work is rooted in various theories (Theory of Structural Dissociation, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ego State Therapy) to explain the knee-jerk reactions that ventilate emotions that are “stuck” in trauma time.
